But in Morocco it is a key ingredient in Cooking; It is one of the healthiest spices, full of nutrients and bioactive compounds that have many benefits for our body and brain. for most of its history dried ginger has been used more than fresh as fresh ginger never survived the caravan and trade routes. The root of the plant  Zingiber officinale doesn't have much flavor, but when sliced or minced its pungent, strikingly strong, flavor will be released.
